March 21, 2022

Dear AgTrust Farm Credit Customer,

If you’ve been affected by any recent natural disasters, including the March wildfires impacting Texas, we want to assure you we’re committed to doing all we can to provide support and service.

You may be eligible for relief options, including:

  • Waived fees for late payments
  • Payment deferrals
  • Loan restructures
  • Short-term lines of credit
  • Extending the terms of loan repayments
  • Easing some loan documentation or credit-extension terms for new loans to certain borrowers

We encourage you to continue your payments according to your loan agreement. Keep in mind that any unpaid payments will become due at the end of the relief period.

We know these are difficult times and we will do everything we can to provide flexibility in managing your loan payments in the weeks ahead.

If you’d like to help, or need help, donations of hay, feed and fencing supplies are being collected for those impacted by the fires. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is coordinating and created a donations hotline at 979-314-8200.

In addition, the Texas Department of Agriculture STAR Fund (State of Texas Agriculture Relief Fund) is accepting monetary donations from private individuals and entities to fund disaster recovery efforts. STAR Fund distributes 100% of the donations collected to those who incurred losses related to natural disasters.

Donations are currently being accepted through the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association’s Disaster Relief Fund. The fund is a 501(c)3 organization and all contributions are tax-deductible.  To make a charitable donation, donate through PayPal at this link.  Applications for relief will be opened later.  For more information contact disasterrelief@tscra.org.

Please be safe.
