Be an Intern!

AgTrust offers a 9-week, full-time paid summer internship program typically starting in late May or early June of each year.  The application period generally opens in late November and ends mid-January with the interview and selection period in early February. We hope you will consider AgTrust for your summer internship.

Each day of AgTrust’s summer internship program provides an opportunity for Interns to discover new activities, learn about important processes within their areas of interest, and build their professional network.

During the program, our Interns have the chance to interact with different departments and experience a variety of roles within the Association. AgTrust will assign an Intern their role based on skills and areas of interest.

Interns will learn more about their assigned department, its importance to the Association, and how the work the Intern does brings value. Navigating through their assigned department and interacting with other departments is a great opportunity to make contacts, share experiences, and discover new ways to work as a team.

Interns also have the opportunity to take part in training and field trips hosted by the program ambassador. At the conclusion of the program, Interns will share their experiences of the program by completing a survey and/or presenting a recap to their co-workers. Feedback is important so that we can continue to improve the program year after year.
