Howland Pecan Company
Howland Pecan Company is a family-owned business in Lamar County, near Paris, Texas. Owners, Harvey and Nancy McCoin, started the company in 2005 and have harvested pecans for more than 30 years. The family also has row crops and cow/calf operation.
What made you start Howland Pecans?
The Paris area never had a good place to crack harvested pecans. We started small. We bought a cracker and a set of scales and off we went!
How has Howland Pecans grown over the years?
Never in our wildest dreams did we think what we started in a tent would lead to a warehouse! Our new warehouse is in Paris. Whether you are needing a pecan cracking service or just looking for a snack or gift, we can help!
What can customers find in the Howland Pecan retail store.
The retail store is filled with delicious top-quality shelled pecans, in shell pecans, gourmet flavored pecans, chocolate candies, gift baskets, and lots more. We are open seasonally, usually mid-October through February.
