Loans for Outside the Cleburne Limits

Known for its Texas charm and Southern hospitality, Cleburne offers a small-town feel with big city access. South of Fort Worth and Dallas, Cleburne provides residents with abundant recreational activities, great schools, vibrant neighborhoods, and numerous parks.

The Cleburne branch of AgTrust Farm Credit has been helping residents secure land loans for years. While we specialize in recreation, new construction, hobby farm, and future homesite loans, we can also assist you in finding the right loan to achieve your goals — whether that’s recreational land, a country home, a farm or ranch, or agribusiness property.

Types of Cleburne-Area Financing

Land loans can be used for investment or recreational purposes, and AgTrust’s Cleburne team can help you find the right loan to bring your aspirations to fruition. We offer the following types of financing.

  • Recreational: Spend more quality time with your loved ones doing the activities you enjoy most. If you are seeking recreational land, AgTrust provides rural land loans toward private property, allowing you to escape the city limits and head to the countryside.
  • Country Home Loans: AgTrust offers financing to build your dream home right outside of Cleburne. Our team will help you obtain a peaceful property with several acres to yourself, as well as help finance part of the building costs for your country home.
  • Farm and Ranch Operations: The legacy of farming and ranching is embedded in the landscape of Cleburne. Whether you are a seasoned farmer or rancher or part of the industry’s newest generation, we look forward to connecting you to equipment loans, livestock loans, and financing for operating capital.
  • Agribusiness: AgTrust has resources for agribusinesses of all shapes and sizes. From large-scale individual producers to service providers of agricultural operations, the Cleburne team offers our expertise and partnership to the commercial sector. If your business is an agricultural operation, processing and marketing, or a farm-related service, you may qualify for our agribusiness loans.

Cleburne-Area Land Loans Are Your Best Choice

AgTrust has been serving communities in Texas for more than 100 years. Our Cleburne team lives locally, so we work hard to meet the needs of our neighbors.

One unique feature of AgTrust is that we are a customer-owned lending cooperative, which means all our branches pay out a patronage dividend to eligible customer-owners. Based on our 2023 performance, we paid a $26.7 million patronage dividend this year, the largest in AgTrust history. The all-cash distribution effectively reduced the interest rate paid by customer-owners in 2023 by an average of 1.33 percentage points. Learn more about our patronage dividend.

Our local team is dedicated to making Cleburne a vibrant community for living and working. Professionally, we belong to the Chamber of Commerce for Cleburne, Granbury, and Glen Rose, as well as the Association of REALTORS® for Johnson County and Granbury.

To give back to the community, we support and participate in these philanthropic events:
