Meet Katy

I am from Red River County, where I have lived my whole life. I am married to my high school sweetheart since March 2014. The joy of our life is our son Arley. We are very close to our families and enjoy Sunday lunch every Sunday after church at my parents’ house.

We raise Brahman and crossbred cattle and enjoy our other farm animals that I am always bringing in. Our son is active in showing livestock at local county shows and jackpots. His showing ranges in various species, including lambs, heifers, pigs, and rabbits.

My family is active in the community as I serve on the Detroit United Board, Detroit Education Foundation Board, and as a committee member of the Student Health Advisory Council. My husband is currently President of the Board for the local school district and an active member of the county fair committee.
