If you’d like to help, or need help, donations of hay, feed and fencing supplies are being collected for those impacted by the fires. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is coordinating and created a donations hotline at 979-314-8200.
In addition, the Texas Department of Agriculture STAR Fund (State of Texas Agriculture Relief Fund) is accepting monetary donations from private individuals and entities to fund disaster recovery efforts. STAR Fund distributes 100% of the donations collected to those who incurred losses related to natural disasters.
Donations are currently being accepted through the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association’s Disaster Relief Fund. The fund is a 501(c)3 organization and all contributions are tax-deductible. To make a charitable donation, donate through PayPal at this link. Applications for relief will be opened later. For more information contact disasterrelief@tscra.org.
Please be safe.
